Bees – Small Insects With a Big Job
Bees are small insects that live all around the world. They are famous for making honey, but they do many other important things. Most bees live in large groups called colonies, and each member has a role. The queen bee lays eggs, worker bees collect nectar, and drones help the queen.
Instructions
Bees are very important for nature because they help plants grow. When bees visit flowers to drink nectar, pollen sticks to their bodies. Then they carry the pollen to other flowers. This process is called pollination, and it helps fruits and vegetables grow. Without bees, many plants would not survive.
Bees communicate by doing a special dance called the “waggle dance.” This dance helps other bees find food. Bees usually live in hives, and they always work together. They may be small, but bees play a big role in keeping our world healthy.
